We have a fine selection of botanical seeds for our seedlings that we sow in clay soils prepared for it. The good development of the seedlings will define the harvest.
Water is key in the asparagus production process. For this reason, we apply automated irrigation that comes from our own water reservoirs and also the fertigation technique to ensure the necessary nutrients for the crop.
We have an Integrated Pest Control Management Program to guarantee sustained growth and a pest-free crop. As part of our innovation, we carry out evaluations through digital platforms and control health applications via GPS.
From sowing to the first harvest, 14-15 months pass. The care previously carried out is key to obtaining the highest quality asparagus.
At our Salaverry Plant we have highly qualified personnel who select the quality and size of the asparagus. They are then moved to the packing area. We focus on maintaining the cold chain throughout the entire production process, shipment and arrival at destination.
