In our fields we sow the varieties Atlas, UC – 157 – F1 and hybrids, the latter of Dutch origin. We are committed to bringing the best quality of fresh and canned white asparagus to the world through our maquilas.

The agricultural and plant team is highly trained to meet global standards.

Our care during the process

Sowing

We make a fine selection of botanical seeds and then plant the seedlings in our sandy soils prepared for it. In this process we must take care that the furrow is covered with sand to prevent sunlight from reaching the shoot. Thus, we obtain the White Turion.

Irrigation

Water is key in the asparagus production process, which is why we apply automated irrigation that comes from our own water reservoirs and also the fertigation technique to ensure the necessary nutrients for the crop.

Health

We have an Integrated Pest Control Management Program to guarantee sustained growth and a pest-free crop. As part of our innovation, we carry out evaluations through digital platforms and control health applications via GPS.

Harvest

From sowing to the first harvest, 14-15 months pass. The care previously carried out is key to obtaining the highest quality asparagus.

Packing

At our Salaverry Plant we have highly qualified personnel who select the quality and size of the asparagus. Then, they are moved to the packing area to be distributed in process chambers of all kinds and adjusted to suit our customers.
